The interactive System of Children in Families Map was developed through research, interviews, workshops and systemic analysis in 2022. This tool was co-created by Nexial, Spring Impact and Know-how Centre for Alternative Care, thanks to the support of Tanya’s Dream Fund.
The map is designed as a tool to trigger systemic, efficient and effective engagement and intervention, helping different actors to navigate the various elements which surround the child and the family. The interactive map brings the system to life, including actors, rules, policies, activities, structures, flows, mindsets and culture.
Stakeholders are then better able to formulate a more holistic understanding of the system, which enables them to identify how and in what way transformative intervention can take place.
